Can't log in

Actually, should you need a username, a real name, or anything else to log into CHAT? We've had problems with both this board's server and the chat server the last two days; it's probably that again.

Although I just made it in all right, and there are other people there, so it's at least kinda, semi-working.

What does it say when you try to log in? Does the chat room even load? Does it say "Trouble reconnecting, please try again later," or does it say something else?

<pout> having the same problem...the room never loads. All i get is a white screen...hmmm...reminds me of a corner.......(wonders if Sir Mark is guarding the chat room door). i've got a cure for that <eg>

imp.....sounds like you need to download java. If you already have it then you need to reinstall it.

Thanks for the cue LilW, downloaded it, installed it, still can't log in. At least now I have better tasting Java!

Have been installing every goddam update available on the internet, the latest is right hand 4.0, I currently have the RH 3.0, it clicks fine on the mouse and all, but gheez can it get the job done?! Anyhow, the guy at the shop said, if I cut of RH 3.0, I have a 30 day warranty that if RH 4.0 doesn't work out, he'll replace RH 4.0 free, he's no neurosurgeon but what the heck.

Just luv the internet sometimes!

Sorry to hear about your troubles Parce, if only it would do that to me, I may actually get something done once in awhile!!
