Default School "BRAT" Memories

Shoe and Audrey were bantering in another thread about their days in school and college.

So it seems like a good thread to start. If you have a memory about school or college, tell us about it.

I'll start with my days in school. It was pretty mild compare to Shoe and Audrey but here goes.

My Days in school

My trunacy days started in sixth grade. I couldn't stand the school and I only liked two teachers that I had. I don't remember how many days I missed but it was a bunch. I will always remember one occasion in school during Science class. I had missed most of the week so my classmate happened to turn around and asked me had I done my Health homework. Of course I didn't. Up til the time I graduated I always thanked that classmate. You had to have known our Health teacher. If she was in a bad mood, and she was that day, you had better had your homework done. Those who didn't were sent out to the hall. When the girls came back in their hands were blood red.

Funny though, when I got to Jr. High I never missed a day of school and made extremely good grades. One thing I did perfect while in Jr. High was cheating on tests. My eighth grade English teacher gave a spelling test. I got caught cheating. After lunch, I asked her how I did on the test. She looked at me and said "I felt like turning you over my knee". Needless to say that threat worked. I'd no longer cheated on her tests. Well, I never got caught. Heck, I was weighing only 110 pounds so I decided to lay low. I use to go to her house almost every weekend.

High School was a whole other story. First, they outlawed paddling. Bad mistake. I didn't give any authority figure any respect all through school. I was nervous at first because my brother-in-law was a teacher there. So tenth grade slipped by quietly. Eleventh and twelfth grade, my behavior went to hell. My accounting teacher, poor thing, I feel sorry for her now. I decided for a week that I was going to show up late for class and I did. She couldn't do anything to me. She wouldn't dare send me to detention. Reason: I was her helper. I had Accounting down pat and I would help one side of the class while she took the other. So I guess I took advantage of her.

Senior year I was just as bad. This time instead of being late, I would delay the start of class by refusing to sit down. I sat on top of my desk instead. She asked me if I want to see the Vice Principal. I said "Sure, send me to Nappy J". Needless to say she didn't send me to see him. All of the students called him Nappy J. No, he don't have a "J" in his name. Disrespect was an ALL TIME high with me.

There was one teacher that we loved to make cry. He was such a weanie. We would lock him out of the classroom, rearranged his desk, you name it we did it. He would get so mad but we would do it again and again. He finally quit teaching the following year. We loved film day. He turned out the light and the heads went down.

Default well i remember...........

In year 9 i had a teacher Mrs.Wilkins.
I had her for homeroom and for maths.
All of us really did not like her. we were not allowed to chew bubble gum in her class and we were not allowed to do this and that. BORING

So a group of us decided it was pay back time. In the morning we would slam the door in her face and then sweetly turn around and say oh sorry didnt see you coming.
Dont know if she always believed us but we never got in trouble.

In the morning before school I would go and buy six packs of hubba bubba gum and then when mathematics came along i would pass them around.
Each person would take one and we would all put them in our mouths at the same time and chew then as she walked in the classroom we would all pretend notheing was in our mouths.
but through the whole lesson we would all blow bubbles and POP! POP! POP!
One time i remember we all blew the bubbles together and then all at the same time we all poped them.

Here in australia all the public schools do not have corporal punishment and only a few private schools do.

We had other teachers that we gave hassells to but this one in particular sticks in my mind.

Default 3rd grade where I started my bantering

A note on my report card.

Wrote the f . . . work on all the girls and boys bathroom walls in permanent ink.

Told my nice elderly teacher to F . . . Off she sent me to the principles office and had me call my mother. I told my mother my brother told me it ment God lives, and that I was giving the teacher a compliment. Like in the football games. He got it really bad that night. One of the very few memories I have of him ever spanking any of us. Nothing happened to me so sweet I was.

I was in hockey that year and won all state. During the game, girls ages 9 to 18, I checked a girl on the wall and told her I would kill her if she ever touched the puck again, she refused to play on the rink with me.

After school me and my friend, Deann snuck through the library which was connected to the principles office and stole the sign in book, nursed med chart, and detention papers. Never got caught.
Then we climbed up on the kindergarten cabin so we called it, was a flat roof and set them on fire with karosene. Needless to day it was alot of fun and not all that dangerous.

Deann and I would not come in after lunch and skip the rest of third grade that day saying we had a note, to go to guidence.
of course he wasn't there on Mondays and it wasn't near the office so nobody could verify that.

Some days I would write a note from my Father who usually just signed it, while my mother was off visiting my grandmother for the week. I watched the other kids and when I was in detention, I listened for tips.
